I returned to San Francisco for more of holiday decorated car 1. This time, it was brought out in conjunction with samTrans New Flyer 838, itself decorated for the holidays in a striking red package theme, by special arrangement. (Thank you!) The vehicles lined up on Powell St. at Union Square. The 838 also posed on other border streets of Union Square, particularly on Geary to capture it with the Christmas tree and Hanukkah menora.

838 also visited Market and Powell Sts., where car 1 was on the turntable for more shots of both vehicles. After the coach left for the Ferry Building, I stayed for pictures of Muni cars 737, 1040, 1061, and 1070. Of interest is New Flyer 5881, assigned to 5 Fulton, but the operator signed the coach for F Market and put the run box on PCC. A fun little diversion during the great photography session this day.

Later I visited Stonestown Galleria for two Marin Airporter buses. There are also shots of Muni and samTrans coaches taken through the windshield of my car. I saw Muni test light rail trains on 19th Avenue.

At the beginning and end of the day's photos you will find a Sunnyvale School District bus and a VTA route 55 bus.

Editing for New Flyer 838 includes warming the temperature of shadowed pictures in favor of the red wrapping.

Nikon D3500 and LG Q7+ yielded 306 photos.
