Next page of the instant vacation covers more north coast cities and inland locations in
California and Oregon.
A few photos around Eureka after checking out include the North Coast Express 101 to Ukiah
and the 20 to Crescent City. Cutaways and Gillig Low Floors were on the Redwood Coast Transit and
Eureka Transit System lines.
Stopped for buses in Arcata. The Arcata and Mad River Transit System (A&MRTS) had an electric
Gillig and a BRT Gillig operating the two locals.
A surprise find was a Humboldt County Library bookmobile along the Redwood Highway.
Reached Crescent City, where Redwood Coast Transit local service uses cutaways. I went up
the 199 to wait for the Oregon Point SouthWest route, an interurban bus serving Klamath Falls,
Medford, Grants Pass, Cave Junction, Crescent City, and Brookings. Got my shots at a turnout
located east of Hiouchi.
In Grants Pass, I discovered the Josephine Community Transit sysem (JCT), with intercity and local
routes. Also got a few Medford buses on the Rogue Valley Transportation District (RVTD).
Nikon D5600 and Samsung Galaxy A54 5G cameras yielded 183 photos including one cropped version.
